Season Details

MAC League Registration:

Registration for the 2017 Spring NMHockey season is now closed. We do need subs during the season and we sometimes get mid-season openings. If you would like to be put on the sub/waiting list, please email Joe at jhanson@nmhockey.com

We are starting registration for the 2017 Spring NMHockey season at the MAC in Rio Rancho. We are planning to fill rosters for 4 teams (40 skaters and 4 goalies) in the Tuesday advanced-intermediate league and 4 teams (40 skaters and 4 goalies) in the Thursday beginner-intermediate league.

Priority will be given to current league members through Monday, December 26. Open registration for those on the waiting list will begin on Tuesday, December 27. Registration for all players will end when the rosters are filled.

Season Start and Duration:

  • Season begins, Tuesday, January 10 and Thursday, January 12 . (NOTE: If the rosters are not filled by the season start, it will be a week for week push until filled.)
  • 20 weeks of play.

Game Days and Times: (These times will likely shift to an hour earlier once youth hockey ends)

  • Advanced-Intermediate – Tuesdays: 8:00PM & 9:30PM
  • Beginner-Intermediate – Thursdays: 8:00PM & 9:30PM

Weeks Off:

  • March 21 and 23 – Spring Break
  • May 25 and 30 – Memorial Day

Team Unveiling:
We will unveil the teams on our website. Date forthcoming.

League Fee Costs:
Skaters – $380 for the season. Full payment is preferred, but two payments of $190 can be arranged. If you only pay half, the remainder will be due Thursday, March 2.
Goalies – $190 for the season

NOTE:  Although players are allowed to split the payment into 2 halves, at registration ALL players are committing to a full season and paying the full amount.  If a player must drop out during the season for any reason, the player is still responsible for the full amount until a suitable replacement player is found.  It may take some time to find a replacement player of the correct skill level that is available.

 

Outpost League Registration:

We are starting registration for the 2017 Spring NMHockey season and are planning to fill rosters for 20 teams again: 4 E Division, 4 D Division, 4 C Division, 4 B2 Division & 4 B1 Division.

Priority will be given to current league members through Saturday, December 3rd. Open registration for those on the waiting list will begin on Sunday, December 4th. Registration for all players will end Friday, December 9th  (if rosters are not full prior to this date) to allow appropriate time for drafting teams.

Season Start and Duration:

  • Season begins with the D & B2 division practices, Monday, January 2nd.
  • 22 weeks of play.
  • First week of the season will be a hockey clinic for the E division.
  • The first week for the B, C, & D divisions will be a practice.
  • If teams wish to have additional practices, they may rent the ice directly from the Outpost or attend stick and puck.

Game Days and Times:

  • E Division Sundays – North Sheet: 6:45PM & 8:15PM
  • B2 Division Mondays – North Sheet: 7:00PM & 8:30PM
  • D Division Mondays – South Sheet: 7:00PM & 8:30PM
  • C Division Wednesdays – North Sheet: 7:00PM & 8:30PM
  • B1 Division Thursdays – South Sheet: 7:00PM & 8:30PM

Weeks Off:

Because of the way holidays fall, some divisions will have different weeks off from each other.

  • C, D, B2 & B1 Divisions – Spring Break (Monday, March 20th – Thursday, March 23rd), Memorial Day (Thursday, May 25th – Monday, May 31st)
  • E – Easter (April 16th), Memorial Day (May 28th)

Team Unveiling:
We will unveil the teams on our website at noon on December 29th.

Goalies – $230 for the season
